NAFDAC Team will visit Pakistan soon

Abuja (Nigeria): It is informed to PECO from Pakistan High Commission, Abuja at Nigeria that the NAFDAC  team will visit Pakistan soon may be within next two weeks because of the pursuance and continuous discussions at length by Pakistan High Commission with stake holdersin both Pakistanand Nigeria against the forced refusal of  competent Nigerian authorities to inspect Pakistan companies as perquisite of business. In this regard the appeal was made to all stake holders both in Nigeria and Pakistan by PECO resulted in resumption of regular relations with National Agency of Food & Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). It has been decided in a meeting between Ambassador of Nigeria at Islamabad, Pakistan His Excellency Mr. Dauda Danladi (who is currently on visit of Nigeria) and Director General of NAFDAC that the inspection team will visit Pakistan within next two weeks. According to the Chairperson of PECO it is ambassador of Nigeria at Islamabad, Pakistan, His Excellency Mr. Dauda Danladi who made high profile contacts to solve this unwanted forced breakdown of growing business relation of Pakistan and Nigeria especially in the field of health. It is very encouraging for the effected companies to observe this positive development that may result in growing business relations between two brother countries. It is worth mentioning that the ties of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Companies and NAFDAC were breakdown due to security reasons as later anticipated security threat while visiting Pakistan to perform official duty of Company Inspections. It is immensely pleasing to note that beside Pakistan High Commission at Abuja, Nigeria and Pakistan Export Company (PECO), the Nigeria High Commission at Islamabad, Pakistan play its positive role for resumption of these ties. It is proof of best diplomatic relations between the two GREENS.
